She is dressed in a long sleeved, dark dress with a large white collar, white cuffs and a white apron. Her hair is pulled back into a bun. Various glass dishes, cutlery and glasses may be seen on the white marble counter below the mirror. A Tiffany-style lamp on top of a large marble container with a tap dispensing handle and jars of liquid (syrup?) are on the front counter. Various signs and advertisements are posted on the walls, including “Ice Cold Soft Drinks,” “Soda Water,” “Drink Dr. Pepper” and “Elk Sealed Ribbon Chocolates.” There is a glass display counter with various confectionery items next to the front counter. Other shelves behind the front counter contain large jars, boxes of hard candy and silver tankards. A small clock reads 9:30. The room itself is ornate - a proscenium arch with a music lyre is over the rear counter and dark wallpaper with a flower motif and wall-mounted, flower-shaped light fixtures are visible. No number has been written on the emulsion side of the negative in the upper right corner of the picture. The number "1" is written in the upper left corner.]]></dcterms:description>
