    <dcterms:references><![CDATA[According to the Encyclopedia Dubuque (www.encyclopediadubuque.org), Edwin Albee purchased an interest in the Fairbanks Bakery in 1870. This firm, named the J. E. Fairbanks &amp; Company, became one of the Midwest’s largest cracker manufacturing companies. Eight years later, Albee bought out his partner, renamed the company the Albee Bakery, and produced “Albee’s Crackers.”  In 1891, Albee sold his company to the National Biscuit Company and remained for an undetermined time as manager. ]]></dcterms:references>
