<dcterms:description>This postcard has a thick, gold, textured border around all sides. The inner portion of the postcard has a border of 3D imprinted purple and green gradient holly leaves with red holly berries. Inside of this border, gold script reads "A Merry Christmas." Below this is a space where a white imprint reads "From" and allows an individual to write a name. This inner portion of the postcard can also be pulled open to reveal a sort of Santa Claus hold up. In the scene, three girls with golden hair and wearing white footie pajamas work to take Santa's bag of toys. Each of the girls wears a black mask over their eyes, trying to conceal their identity. Two of the girls on the left side of the picture are dragging his bag of toys past large drapes and a mantelpiece decorated with a holly plant. The third girl holds two small pistols on Santa Claus and stands on a red footstool. Behind her is a large Christmas tree decorated with candles, red beads, and gold ornaments. On the right side of the card is Santa Claus with both of his hands up in the air and a surprised expression on his face. He wears his red suit with white-fur-lined details, a thick brown belt about his middle, and black boots that extend up to his knees. He sits in a large, brown, cushioned chair.</dcterms:description>

<dcterms:description>"Archbishop Leo Binz established Queen of Heaven Parish in Reinbeck on July 19, 1955. Father John E. Graham, pastor of Immaculate Conception at Blessing, had conducted a survey of the area Catholics to determine their interest in forming a parish. There were thirty families living in and around three towns: Reinbeck, Lincoln and Morrison. The new congregation was placed in the care of Father Graham. On July 24 he joined 100 parishioners in celebrating the first Mass in Reinbeck. They gathered in the memorial building, which they used until their own church was ready. The fledgling parish planned to build a church. However the Wayne Wheeler building became available and was purchased for $16,500. Parish labor converted the interior for $2,000. They obtained pews from a church that was to be razed—Saint Joseph Church near Woolstock and Clarion."

-Rev. Msgr.
