The windows to the building are wide open and do not have screens in front of them. Two windows on the right have shutters over them, with a few pieces broken out. The grounds in front of the building show charring and debris all over. The main building itself, is on the left side and made of concrete and stone. the back of the building, on the left side, is completely gone and there is a lone wall of stone standing on the far left side. The roof of the building has the shingles falling off and boards hanging off the roof. There is a building to the left  that also has taken damage from, presumably, artillery. There is a possible stone wall or foundation of another building that is sitting on the right side with a metal gate leaning one way. There are leafless trees in the background and more debris within and behind the destroyed building.]]></dcterms:description>

In the foreground are hundreds of lines of barbed wire going multiple ways to wooden or metal stakes in the ground that are holding it up. In the left side of the background, it can be seen that the barbed wire sections are almost striped on the field. The sections are a possible 10 feet from either side, and then an open field of 10 feet, and then another stripe of 10 feet of barbed wire that would make it difficult for someone to walk through and break into the opposing forces came or trench.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[A German machine gun employment area in the woods around the time of the St. Mihiel Front during the first World War. There is a German trench in the foreground that extends back and forks into two possible ways. To the right is a covered area that extends back into a bunker. The right side also goes back farther and then goes into the bunker, underneath the ground. On top of the trenches is a circular building made of presumably concrete. There are leaves covering the entire area and trees. There is a small square hole in the circular building that is facing the photographer. A narrow pipe of sorts is coming out of the window and resting on the bottom of the window. The pipe then goes down the ground and into the right side of the trench and into the bunker. There is also a possible fencing or netting that goes over the trench and bunker.]]></dcterms:description>

Towards the right are slightly taller crosses with squares in the center. The squares may have the names of those who are deceased. Behind the cemetery are the remains of war torn buildings that do not have any roofs and much of the walls are completely gone.  There are also wooden planks that are set up against the walls of the war torn buildings. The ground of the cemetery seems to be charred and a darker color than the rest of the ground.  ]]></dcterms:description>
