    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Two young women are shown standing in front of a concrete shelter with a tile roof. Ivy is growing on the walls of the structure. Concrete benches and flower pots are partially visible. A low stone wall may be seen behind the shelter, located on the edge of the bluff overlooking the Mississippi River. This shelter was constructed in honor of Oliver P. Shiras, Civil War veteran, U. S. Judge of the Northern District, and the first person to advocate for a public park on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi River. The park open in 1910, and became know as Eagle Point Park. The number 1303 is written on a label that has been stuck to the lower left corner of the slide.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[The Methodist Episcopal church and parsonage are shown in this image. Constructed in 1884, the church building is brick with a stone foundation and a short brick and white wooden steeple. There is an ornate cross on top of the steeple. The parsonage is a two story white frame home. An out building seems to be attached to the home by a short breezeway. A corner stone indicates that the main church building was constructed in 1884.     <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Modest in size, this one story home sits on a small corner lot. The home has a stucco exterior and tile roof. Narrow windows have been installed in shallow, recessed, arched openings. Wooden shutters have been added on either side of the openings. Curtains are visible in the windows. A shallow overhang with a tile roof may be seen over the arched, wooden front door which opens onto a small stoop. A brick, double chimney protrudes from the roof, and a detached garage is partially visible behind the home.  A fire hydrant may be seen between a sidewalk and curb running along the side yard of the home. The number 1269b is written on a label that has been stuck to the lower left corner of the slide.]]></dcterms:description>
