This is a brick church on the right of the photo. There are two steeples with crosses at the top: the left steeple is shorter than the right. In the middle of the two steeples in a triangle roofed arch with another cross at the point of the roof. The right steeple has a clock in the tower. Both steeples have a zigzag pattern at the base of the spire. The church is facing 22nd street and from the street, there is a sidewalk and a metal fence around the property of the church. To the left of the church is an open flat field with a leafless tree close to the sidewalk. The gates have openings in front of the church and a walkway from the sidewalk up to the three sets of staircases which lead to the three doors to enter the church. On the facade of the church on the bell tower is a plaque that reads, "M.E. Church". The church bell tower has a steeple and an opening where the bell would be. This building is light colored with a darker trim. There is a set of stairs in the middle of the building that leads to a porch. There is a similar porch on the next floor. There are automobiles and/or carriages to the left of the house. There are people sitting on the porches of the building. There are a large group of men standing on the grounds of this building, in conversation with one another. Many, if not all of the men are wearing a lighter colored shirt, maybe white. And many of the men are wearing darker colored slacks and hats. There are two larger trees in front of the building, and one tree to the left of the building. There is also some sort of machinery to the right of the photograph and to the right of the men. This may be along the river, and may be a riverboat.
