The number "227" is visible above the front door of the building. The building is a brick building that is 4 stories tall. The front door is two main, wooden doors with a glass window above that has the address of "227" on it. There is an arched stone above the doorway. To the left of the building is either an alley or an open, dirt area. There is a small walkway next to the building that leads to at least two doors in the side of the building. The street in front of the building is a brick road. There is a wooden post in the right side of the photograph with the words, "Look Out for the Cars." Also to the right of the building, in the background is another building that has signs on it that are not fully visible. One says, "A. Frater" and another is "es, Pelts, Woo" and the rest is cut off on either side. The right side of the building is cut off on the corner and angled back instead of a 90 degree angle at the corner. A majority of the windows on the front of the building are open. It was also an agent for Prairie Queen Flour, which is notes at the top of the building. There is a small roofed walkway at the first floor of the building. The right side of the McFadden building is cut off on the corner and angled back instead of a 90 degree angle at the corner. There is a fire escape that runs down the side of the building from the roof/5th floor to the ground level. A majority of the windows on the front of the building are open. There is a small, wooden building to the right of the building that has two windows on either side, an open door facing the road, and a stove pipe coming from the roof. There appears to be wheel in front of the building. There is also a horseshoe with the opening facing downwards, above the door. The church is located on the corner of Bluff and 9th Streets, facing 9th. It is a 2 story, small building with windows on all sides of the church. The front of the church has four, large white, and smooth columns. There are a set of 5 stone stairs that lead up to where the columns rest. The front doors of the church stand behind the columns. A rounded window is at the top floor of the building, above the columns. There is a fire hydrant out front of the building, near the corner of the two streets. The streets are brick.
