Against an orange background, it depcits Father Christmas with a bundle of sticks and toys on his back facing a child who is either praying or begging. There is an evergreen on the right. Surrounding the scene is a border of loops of holly, a toy animal, and toy jester. "A merry Christmas" is printed below the inset.
